Our client in the mining industry is currently seeking a SAP & Microsoft Power Platform/BI Consultant for a Three (3) months mandate.

Employment specifications :

• Longueuil

• 40 hours per week

• Hybrid (4 days per week on site and 1 day per week remotely)

Your schedule could look like:

• Support enterprise reporting, analytics, automation, and data migration across SAP and Microsoft technologies

• Gather and understand business requirements.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI reporting solutions.

• Build and optimize semantic models and dataflows.

• Integrate SAP data into reporting and analytics solutions.

• Support SharePoint-based business processes and data management.

• Develop SQL queries, views, and data extraction processes.

• Provide technical recommendations, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

• Produce the required deliverables :

• High-quality scalable BI solutions

• Well-documented data models and automation workflows

• Optimized SQL queries and SAP data integrations.

• Support for ongoing reporting, automation, and process improvement initiatives.

Must-have : 

• Essential Skills (Required)

1. Power BI Desktop (Expert Level)

• • Design and development of interactive dashboards

  • Creation of multi-page reports

  • Advanced use of visualizations

  • Management of filters and slicers

  • Publishing reports and dashboards to Power BI Service

2. Data Modeling

• • Star schema design

  • Management of table relationships

  • Development and maintenance of Power BI semantic models

  • Performance optimization

  • Management of hierarchies and dimensions

3. DAX (Highly Important)

• • CALCULATE

  • FILTER

  • SUMX

  • RELATED

  • DATEADD

  • Time Intelligence functions

  • KPI development and complex measure creation

4. Power Query (M Language)

• • Data cleansing and preparation

  • Table merging and joining

  • Data transformation and reshaping
