Our client in the mining industry is currently seeking a SAP & Microsoft Power Platform/BI Consultant for a Three (3) months mandate.

Employment specifications :

• Longueuil

• 40 hours per week

• Hybrid (4 days per week on site and 1 day per week remotely)

Your schedule could look like:

• Support enterprise reporting, analytics, automation, and data migration across SAP and Microsoft technologies

• Gather and understand business requirements.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI reporting solutions.

• Build and optimize semantic models and dataflows.

• Integrate SAP data into reporting and analytics solutions.

• Support SharePoint-based business processes and data management.

• Develop SQL queries, views, and data extraction processes.

• Provide technical recommendations, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

• Produce the required deliverables :

• High-quality scalable BI solutions

• Well-documented data models and automation workflows

• Optimized SQL queries and SAP data integrations.

• Support for ongoing reporting, automation, and process improvement initiatives.

Must-have : 

• Three (3) years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related discipline

• Three (3) years of experience working with Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform.

• Demonstrated experience with SAP data extraction, SQL development, and enterprise reporting environments.

• Experience working in supply chain, procurement, maintenance, asset management, or mining/heavy industry environment.

• Experience integrating SAP Data with Microsoft Power Platforms solutions.

• Familiarity with Power Query (M), ETL process, and data transformation techniques.

• Experience working in Agile project environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong understanding of SAP ERP data strucures and business processes

• Experience working with SAP tables, views, and data extraction.

• Knowledge of procurement, and finance-related SAP data is an asset.

• Advanced SQL development and troubleshooting skills.

• Experience in Query optimization and performance tuning

• Experience with large datasets and complex joins.

• Experience with the following Power BI skills:
  • Power BI Dataflows

  • Power BI Semantic Models (Datasets)

  • Data modeling and relationship design

  • DAX Measure development and optimization

  • Report and dashboard development

  • Performance analysis and troubleshooting

• Experience with the following Collaboration and Data Management skills:
  • SharePoint L list and document libraries

  • Data integration with Power Platform

  • Permissions and governance

• Knowledge of Smarsheet, including:
  • Dasboard and reporting setup

  • Workflow automation

  • Integration with business processes and reporting solutions
