Our client in the public industry is currently seeking a Senior M365/SharePoint Application Specialist for a Ten (10) month mandate.

Employment specifications :

• Ottawa

• Full time

• Hybrid (3 days per week on-site)

Your schedule could look like:

• Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 based applications.

• Build and support Power Apps (Canvas) solutions and Power Automate workflows.

• Develop HTML-based forms and user interfaces to support data submission and capture

• Implement and maintain :
  • Approval and validation workflows

  • Automated notifications an transactional tracking

  • Reporting dashboards and analytics using Power BI

  • Role-based permissions, metadata models, and audit trails

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into effective technical solutions, including process analysis and documentation.

• Integrate new solutions with existing Information Management systems.

• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing production support.

• Produce clear and comprehensive technical documentation and support knowledge transfer to internal teams.

• Ensure all solutions comply with WCAG 2.1AA Accessibility standards and deliver a fully bilingual (English/French) user experience.

Must-have : 

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience withing the last five (5) years working with all of the following technologies:
  • SharePoint Online (Architecture, Content types, Permissions)

  • PowerApps (Canvas, Power FX)

  • Power Automate (Approvals, Error handling).

  • Dataverse

  • Power BI (Data modeling, DAX, Reporting)

  • SharePoint Framework (SPFx) using React and TypeScript

  • Microsoft Graph and SharePoint Rest APIs

  • PowerShell (PnP/Graph)

  • Azure DevOps (CI/CD Pipelines)

  • Visual Studio Code, Node/npm, Webpack

  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript

• Strong customer service and client-facing communication skills in both English and French.

• Proven ability to translate client needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.

• Experience conduction business process analysis and workflow optimization

• Effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Experience supporting end users throughout solution development and implementation
• Must have a secret level clearance
