Internal job title: Architect, cloud solutions.

ITI is looking for an Azure Architect and Container Technical Lead recognized for their ability to turn business needs into concrete cloud solutions, guide technology decisions, and build lasting relationships of trust with clients.

In this role, you will act as a strategic partner and the expert advisor and primary point of contact for container technologies. From understanding needs and scoping initiatives to designing target architectures, developing proofs of concept, prototyping, and preparing recommendations, you will contribute directly to the success of cloud transformation and containerization projects.

Working closely with Account Managers, architects, and delivery teams, you will leverage your Azure and container expertise, consulting mindset, and ability to simplify technical concepts. The expected allocation is approximately 40% architecture and advisory, 30% hands-on technical work, and 30% technical leadership and mentorship. This allocation may vary depending on the nature of the engagement.

Your role at ITI

In collaboration with the Cloud Solutions Architecture team, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and validating secure, high-performing, resilient Azure and container architectures tailored to clients’ business challenges;
  • Acting as the technical lead and expert advisor for container technologies, serving as the primary point of contact for clients, delivery teams, sales teams, and other stakeholders;
  • Defining and evolving the technical direction, standards, architecture patterns, and best practices related to containerization, orchestration, and the operation of containerized workloads;
  • Coaching and supporting architects and technical teams through mentorship, knowledge transfer, and the promotion of container best practices;
  • Supporting Account Directors in pre-sales activities, engagement scoping, and the development of cloud solution strategies;
  • Facilitating discovery workshops to understand client needs and define the solutions best suited to their reality;
  • Assessing the effort, costs, risks, and dependencies associated with proposed solutions;
  • Developing recommendations, technical proposals, and roadmaps that support successful transformation initiatives;
  • Serving as a trusted advisor to clients while ensuring alignment between pre-sales, architecture, and delivery teams;
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to contribute to project success and customer satisfaction;
  • Maintaining deep expertise in Azure technologies, container platforms, orchestration, and cloud best practices;
  • Contributing actively to proofs of concept, prototyping, technical reviews, validation of configurations and deployment approaches, and the resolution of complex issues.

This position is for you if...

  • You are equally comfortable discussing business challenges with clients as you are designing Azure cloud architectures;
  • You prefer understanding business challenges before recommending technology solutions;
  • You can effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences;
  • You are recognized for your ability to quickly build trusted relationships;
  • You enjoy influencing, advising, and guiding clients through strategic decisions;
  • You naturally seek the best solution for the client above all else;
  • You thrive in collaborative environments involving sales, delivery teams, and technology partners.

  • Knowledge of infrastructure, container, networking, cybersecurity, and compliance principles;
  • Experience with cloud migration and transformation initiatives;
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams;
  • French proficiency is considered an asset. An intermediate level of English is required to collaborate effectively-speaking clients, partners, and manufacturers.
